What Is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin treatment that uses very fine, sterile needles to create controlled microchannels in the skin. This process activates the skin’s natural repair response, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.

By stimulating the skin’s own natural renewal processes, microneedling can help improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven texture, enlarged pores, acne scarring, and uneven skin tone—while supporting smoother, firmer, healthier-looking skin.

The Benefits of Microneedling

Microneedling can improve the appearance of:

  • Fine lines & visible signs of aging

  • Uneven skin texture

  • Enlarged pores

  • Acne scarring

  • Uneven skin tone

  • Loss of firmness

  • Overall skin quality

WHAT TO EXPECT

Immediately after

Skin may appear pink or red and feel warm, tight, or mildly sensitive—similar to a light sunburn.

Days 1–3

Redness generally begins to settle. Mild dryness, tightness, sensitivity, or light flaking may occur.

Days 3–7

Skin typically continues to calm and may begin to feel smoother. Any dryness or flaking should resolve naturally.

Over the following weeks

Collagen remodeling continues beneath the surface, so improvements in texture, firmness, and overall skin quality develop gradually.

Please contact me if you experience symptoms that seem unusual, severe, or are worsening rather than improving.
